Use the same SSH session/channel for SFTP

Would it be possible to establish an SSH channel for SFTP using the existing connection?

When connecting to an SSH session via an Azure Bastion VPN/SSH/Gateway, it is not possible to establish an SFTP connection at the same time. I have enabled the "Use SFTP connection for remote file transfer" setting under the Advanced Terminal settings, but when I connect, the remote server area in RDP is just blank.

It would be cool to use the same SSH session/channel for SFTP, but I also wouldn't mind if it initiated another Azure Bastion connection for SFTP. Either way it would be great to be able to do SSH and SFTP at the same time with Azure Bastion connections from within Remote Desktop Manager.

Hi Hubert and Samuel,

Just letting you know that I downloaded and tested version 2023.2.9.0 (June 20, 2023) today and SFTP over a single SSH connection now works as expected using Azure Bastion.

Thank you so much for arranging this :)

Kind regards,
