Terminal Shows old commands after "clear" command

Hi,
When use the clear command in RDM, the scrollbar takes me back to old commands. This is unusual because "clear" is supposed to restart the scrollbar and show me a clean terminal. How can this be fixed?

Hello,

I performed my tests and unfortunately could not reproduce, when I write "clear" it clears the terminal as expected.

Could you send me a screenshot of your SSH session's properties ? I specifically would like the "Terminal" tab to see how that has been configured.
