Hello Roger,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter.
What happens when you open RDM?
Could you send us the error message that you get when you open RDM?
Could you try to open RDM as an administrator?
Best regards,
Patrick Ouimet
Hi Patrick
i can't get your question?
What sould happen when rdm starts (other than rdm starts..)?
if i start as admin and and wan't to open a barracuda connection, i get the exact error:
"Unable to find Barracuda NG Firewall executable!!!" (same as non admin)
regards Roger
Hello Roger,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Could you tell me when exactly the firewall block RDM to work?
Is it when you start RDM or it is when you try to open an entry in RDM?
If it’s the case, which type of entry are you trying to open?
Could you provide a screenshot of this error in RDM?
Best regards,
Patrick Ouimet
Hi Patrick
You questions target in complete different targets, than my question.
barracuda firewall admin is an executable. (Barracuda NG Firewall Admin)
regards Roger
Hello Roger,
Thanks for this clarification.
Now that I know that we are talking about the entry in RDM, could you send a screenshot of these entry properties?
Please, make sure to not share any sensitive information.
Best regards,
Patrick Ouimet
Settings of a host and also the global settings, where the executable is.

Hello Roger,
Could you try to launch your connection with the default executable?
And uncheck the override in the global settings?
Are you able to launch Barracuda outside of RDM?
Best regards,
Patrick Ouimet
Hi Patrick
ah yes, it's one of my most important tools (whats the reason i would like to integtrate it in rdm).
If i uncheck the global override, the executable can't be found? the default executable is a very old version and not compatible. so no, doesn't makes sense to disable it.
regards Roger
Hello Roger,
As mentioned in my previous email, I opened a case to investigate this issue.
I will post the solution here on the forum when this case will be resolved.
