Hello Mail9,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter.

Which version of RDM and what type of Data Source you are currently using?
Best regards,

Hi,
I use the last version: 2023.1.20.0 64-bit.
I do not quite understand the "data source" part.
I just copy 14GB file from my local machine and paste it on the desktop of my remote machine.

Best regards

Hello Mail9,

Thank you for this quick reply.

what type of entry you are using to have this error, SFTP?
could you tell me if you try to copy/paste outside of RDM with Remote Desktop Connection, you get the same error?
What type of file you are trying to copy/paste?

Best regards,

Patrick Ouimet

This is the file: Works_20150710_14GB_20230416.tc (14GB)
What is SFTP?
What is RDM?
What outside of RDM means?

Best regards!

Hello Mail9,

Thank you for this swift reply.

The file is a .tc, is it a vitual encrypted disk?
SFTP stand for Secure File Transfer Protocol, this type of connection is use to transfer bigger file.
RDM stands for Remote Desktop Manager, the application you are using to open your RDP session.
Outside of RDM mean that, by default, Windows have an application called Remote Desktop Connection. You could use this application to connect to your remote machine, and try this issue one more time.

Let me know the result of this test.

Thank you!

Yes, this is a virtual encrypted disk.

I do not use the Windows' solution.
I need this functionality from the Devolution's application.

My hosting provider is Contabo.

Best regards.

Hi,

I did not closed anything. I watched the transfer all the time.
The error message occurs very soon after the transfer initialization.

Hello Mariyan,

Thank you for this quick comeback.

Could you try to reproduce this issue one more time and provide us the Windows log of your RDP workstation?
This log could be found by typing Event Viewer in the search bar of Windows.

With this log, we will be able to investigate your issue further.
