Hi,
Why does the version 2023.1.18.0 of RDM demands a Database Upgrade but the version 2023.1.20.0 does not.
Also on the release notes, that information is not there, in neither of the versions over 2023.1.10.0
Need to know this, so to decide if we have to block that version from being installed.
Thank you
Hello,
The reason is very simple, it was not supposed to be merged and we rollbacked it. The changes have no impact for the version 2023.1

Hi,
Why does the version 2023.1.18.0 of RDM demands a Database Upgrade but the version 2023.1.20.0 does not.
We had an issue with the build and part of a code/change that is meant for the next major release (v2023.2) was unintentionally included in the build, hence the DB upgrade.
Once we realized this, we quickly took the .18 down but not before a few customers, like yourself, were able to download/install it.
Now what? What are the implications?
The DB upgrade step will not cause any issues with v2023.1, now and with future upgrades. We will also but in a mechanism so this can no longer happen.
Also on the release notes, that information is not there, in neither of the versions over 2023.1.10.0
Where exactly are seeing the release notes stop at .10 (so that we can fix them)? On this page we have them all: https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/release-notes

v2023.1.20 is good and can be released.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think i wasn't clear, what i wanted to say is that on the release notes, there wasn't a reference to the need to upgrade de Database on the most recent versions.
