Hi
If you have some users logging inn to their computers with passwords and some PIN and some off them wants the RDP session embedded and some external RDM sessions.
Then I have problem finding out how to configure RDM to accommodate this, are there a way to do this without having users select different users when logging on?
Windows server in workgroup, verified on Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 2016.
If you are running windows 11 client and are log inn with password on your local computer.
The RDM entry has to have a blank domain to manage to log on with RDM external, internal you can have domain to ” .\”.
This hade bin fine but when you log on to your windows 11 client with pin.
You can’t log on to the server if you do not have “.\” in the domain.
We have Microsoft RD GW in this configuration.
RDM Enterprise Edition 2022.3.33.0
Data source Microsoft Azure SQL

Hello,
Are you looking to have a 1 RDP session that could accomplish all these scenarios? If yes, I think it would be difficult, but maybe we can try to accomplish this using our User Specific Settings feature (https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/edit_userspecificsettings.html)
Could you give it a try?

It is strange sometimes you struggle with a problem a long time and can’t figure it out, but when you ask for help you understand it.
The solution was to add the computer name as domain, that works on alle the methods.
Hello,
Glad to hear that you were able to find the solutions and thank you for sharing it! Let us know if you have any further questions!
