private SSH key strangeness after upgrade to 2023..

R
DM with devolution online drive upgraded to personal hub thingy (your priduct naming, jesus.. ;) )
ssl sessions with private key. they still seem to work, I can login, but when editing I get:

Unable to find the private key entry, this setting will be lost

private key handling was alwas strange with having an entry under credentials, linked vault, where I can select a private key entry but must enter the private key in the private key tab again and this doesn't seem to work anymore:

btw, I can't insert more than one screenshot into a post at the moment..

Hello perler,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

To better assist you, may I ask which version of RDM you are currently using?

Based on the screenshot you provided, I noticed that you are using the "Find by name (User Vault)" feature, in your User Vault could you please confirm if there is a "Private Key" entry with the exact same name used in the Properties of your SSH Shell entry? Please note that this is case-sensitive.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,

Samuel Dery

This "find by name" was my solution to the problem, that originally and with all SSH connections it looks like this:

but, this is the strange thing, I still can connect to the SSH session and I also I can export the key (the one I assume is used in this connectin).

something went wrong when switching the data source to the private hub..

Hello,

Thank you for your swift reply!

We are glad to see that the "find by name" solved this problem. Let us know if you find other strangeness that seems to be tied to the migration to Hub Personal.

@jaclynschaden,

I would suggest opening a new thread here https://forum.devolutions.net/forums/1/remote-desktop-manager--support to start with a fresh new topic.
