Hello,
We recently had an issue were someone from our team got connected to a different machine (server A) than the one in the entry he used (server B). Looking at the logs, there was a discrepancy between his, that showed he connected to server B, and the ones an admin could see, that showed he connected to server A at that exact time.
He was using version 2022.3.33.0 while we had upgraded the database to the latest version with version 2023.1.10.0. Could this error be due to using an old version of RDM after a database upgrade?
Best regards.
Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
To prevent any further issues, I highly recommend updating RDM to the latest version. This can often resolve any compatibility issues.
Additionally, if User Specific Settings have been configured on the entry, it could be the cause of the problem. You can find more information on how to configure these settings in our knowledge base article, which I have linked below:
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/edit_userspecificsettings.html
Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Thanks for the information.
There were no User Specific Settings configured on the entry so we'll use Version Management to make sure everyone has an up-to-date version of RDM and see if it reoccurs.
Best regards.
