How many computers can I RDP to locally over LAN?

Hi.

I will be needing to connect 20 computers to my home network, and need to be able to RDP to each.

My questions are, is that possible with this software?

And a secondary question for anyone with knowledge, do I need any special network switch to connect all of these devices, or will any standard switch be fine?

Thank you

Hello,

Just to be clear, are you trying to connect to your 20 computers from a different network or the same one ?

If you're trying to connect to them from a different network, then RDM's RDP entry will have the same limitations as a regular RDP session.

This means you may require a VPN if connecting to a computer on a different network.

I am trying to connect from the same network. I am just wondering if there is a limit of concurrent connections within RDM

Hello,

In that case, there's no limit to how many connections you can have open at once.

It simply depends on your computer's resources.

If you have further questions, let me know !

Hello,

Just to clarify, if you mean to open 20 different RDP sessions in Remote Desktop Manager, it is possible.

It will create different tabs for each connection.

However you can't have 20 different connections in a single RDP entry.

The RDP entry in RDM will have the same limitations as regular a RDP connection.
