Hello,

i've imported our custom images with the new option under "Administration > Images", since they are not selectable through the "Custom" menu anymore. They show up for admin users, but not for anyone else. Is there anything I can do to fix that, or is this a bug?

What data source type are you connected to?

The global images should be available in the Global section for non-admin users like the following screen capture when editing an entry. Please click on the entry's icon and head over to Global.

Hello,

If you want the users to manage the Global Images from the Administration menu, then you need to set the Global images permission in Administration - System Permissions - Management.

If I open the "Global" settings with a user, it is empty:


If I do the same with an Administrator, all images are visible. I don't want users to manage the images, but to be able to see and use them.

Data source is SQL Server. Even if I grant Management for Images to everyone, they won't show up for the users.

As soon as I change an account from User to Administrator, the images show up. Something isn't working correct.

On a SQL data source with RDM 2023.1.13, I cannot reproduce this behaviour.

What RDM version are you using?

What authentication type they use to connect on the SQL data source? Are they connect using a database account, using Integrated Security or Custom (Devolutions)?

We use integrated windows authentication, RDM version is the newest available (2023.1.13.0 64-bit).

The images were added with database authenticated admin account.

The new RDM version 2023.1.15 contains the fix to allow non-admin users to see the global images.
