Cannot open data source on google drive from Android (worked previously).
I've been sharing my data source between my PC and my Phone for quite some time and it's been working well. It's on Google Drive. I got a new phone (S23 Ultra) and when I go to data sources, then import, select drive and pick the file, it says "Invalid File Format".
I used my PC to create a copy of the data source in Google Drive and I can open that on my desktop, but the same error shows up on my phone.
How do I get this working again?
Hello Asmith1,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter.
Could you provide some screenshots concerning this issue?
Be sure to not share any sensitive information, please.
instead of importing the data source, could you try to create a new one and connect it to your Google account?
Just go to Data Sources -> select the + sign to create a new one -> Google Drive -> OK -> and fill in all the needed information.
Please note that this is an online database that can be connected to your Google account.
Please note that if your Google account has a 2-factor authentication, you will have to authorize the access when validating Google Drive.
Please note that the filename has to be the same name as the filename in your google account.
This Filename can be found here at https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive

Creating new and using the existing file name seems to work fine. That was confusing because I didn't think creating NEW was what you are supposed to do. I guess in the sense that you are creating a data source to use, but I take that as create a new database to use, not create new to connect an existing database. Regardless, it's fixed and working, thanks.
