Reset Secret of DVLS Application Entity not available

We have created a DVLS application entity and assigned it permissions to various vaults.
The secret that was created for the application now needs to be changed due to security reasons, but there appears to be no method to generate a new secret.
We would prefer not to recreate the application because then we would have to re-grant access to the vaults.

Hello Karl,

As we already discussed, the engineering team thinks it is a good idea to be able to either reset the password or view it, since you can have permissions applied to the application. I have linked this post to our internal feature request, we will keep you posted.

Just to let you know that we have implemented that feature. It is now possible to generate a new secret for an application identity. It is part of the version 2024.3.
