Embedded VNC doesn't respect French Keyboard

Embedded VNC doesn't respect French Keyboard

avatar

Hello David,

Using embedded RealVNC, or ThightVnc or UltraVNC, RDM doesn't respect my French keyboard layout :
- it always uses the keystrokes for the numbers at the top (not the pad on the left) as Numbers (like an US keyboard). Using MAJ/CapsLock or not, it's impossible to use the "²&é"'(-è_çà)=" keys.
- impossible to use the AltGr + Number. For exemple, to do a \ (backslash), I should do a AltGr + 8. But in embedded mode, nothing happens.

Following this topic : http://forum.devolutions.net/messages.aspx?TopicID=316, I tested with the Beta 5.7.0.6, same problem.

Not using the external mode with RealVNC, ThightVnc or UltraVNC, it works well.

If you have an idea...

Thanks - Sylvain

Hi,
I fixed a lot of problem in the embedded VNC, but it seems that it's not perfect. I will test the French keyboard layout.

Thank you for the info
