I recently upgraded some machines from ubuntu 18.04 to 22.04 and the behaviour of the SSH terminal seems to have changed. In ubuntu 18.04 selecting text with the mouse copied the text into the clipboard (like xterm*selectToClipboard). Now, the SSH terminal is responding to mouse clicks like in a graphical GUI (you can open menus and stuff).
I think it's more a change on the server side, but I really would like to have the old behaviour back. Any idea how?
Hello,
Could you please confirm if this issue is affecting RDM Windows or RDM Linux?
Best regards,
Richard Boisvert
It's on Windows.
Hello Perler,
In the SSH entry, under Advanced, you can change the "Mouse click mode", setting it to XTerm should fix the issue.

ok, this was actually not neccessary, I found a workaround (or simply out how this works now). this has not much to with RDM but for posterity:
This actualy seems to happen only in ncurses based programs like midnight commander which have terminal mouse support. To switch from mouse mode to select/copy/paste mode hold Ctrl and click for select/copy or right click for paste.
Hello Perler,
Thank you for sharing the information with everyone, glad it now works as expected.
Best regards,
Richard Boisvert
