Sophos connect 2.0 via RDM

avatar

Hello everyone,

With Sophos Connect 2.0 it is possible to connect using commandline parameters.
This is done with the sccli.exe.

I have created an entry using VPN type Custom and

  • Application : C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Connect\sccli.exe
  • Opening arguments: enable -n $VPN_HOST$ -u $VPN_USERNAME$ -p $VPN_PASSWORD$
  • Closing arguments: disable -n $VPN_HOST$
  • One time code: prompt poppup append after Password

When I connect via de command prompt the connection works. Also I have created a Powershell script that output the parameters and they look good.
But when starting it from RDM it doesn't work. I can see that interface is trying to connect, but after a few seconds it fall back to the screen where you can enter the credentials.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

Could you please go under Help -> Profiler -> Debug Only and set the debug level to 1?
Once this is done, follow try to launch your VPN once more and provide us the logs that will be created in the Profiler Window.

Once this is done, make sure to set your debug level back to 0.

These logs can be sent to us via private message.

Best regards,

James Lafleur
