Using RDP quick connect to access windows servers. RDM is now passing my current windows credentials to the server which causes the error below. My current credentials don't have access, I have always been prompted for username/password in the past, and that is the how I need quick connect to act.
It looks like IT my have pushed Version 2022.3.27.0 on 12.22.2022, not sure if that version had a behavior change.
I upgraded to 2022.3.31.0, but it still doesn't prompt for credentials.
Error:
The connection was denied because the user account is not authorized for remote login
Hello,
Thanks for contacting us on that matter.
This issue might happen if you had to connect with Windows Remote Desktop Connection (MSTSC).
Could you verify that your credential is not saved in the Windows Credentials Manager?
To verify the information, open the search bar of windows and type Windows Credentials Manager -> under Windows credentials you will be able to see all saved credentials and you will be able to delete them.
Best regards,

Hi, thanks for the response. I checked windows credentials manager, and I don't have any saved credentials.
The issue happens for any server I am trying to connect to using qucik connect. Even new servers I have never accessed before.
Is it possible the default template was changed in a recent update to always pass the credentials of the current user?
Thanks,
Hello,
Thanks for the swift reply.
Could you provide a screenshot of your template bottom on the right side of the quick connect?
Best regards.

Hello,
Thanks for the comeback.
If you create a new RDP entry and open the session manually and not by the quick connect, does it work?
Could you take a screenshot of File -> Templates -> Local Default Settings -> Session -> RDP (Microsoft Remote Desktop)?
best regards,
