No Save prompt when closing the Properties window

Hi,

If I open up a session item and make a change, but I click the 'X' in the corner instead of the OK button, I don't get a prompt asking if I want to save my work. Instead, it just closes the window and all changes are lost. I just did this accidentally and lost a bunch of work. If someone could fix this so it works like any other program and gives the standard Yes.No prompt when closing a window with unsaved changes, that would be great.

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for the request, I have opened a ticket. I think it would be a good addition.

Hello,

We've added an option. It can be found in Files - Options - Advanced - under the General section of the list. It is named Disable prompt for confirmation on cancel in properties and these prompts are disabled by default (simply un-checking the box will enable those prompts for you). With this, you will be asked for confirmation on whether or not you wish to save your entries when exiting their properties without saving.

Note however, that this message will prompt even if there are no changes in the entry. We are currently investigating the possibility of having this window prompt only when there are changes in the entries.

These changes will be available for the 2023 version.
