hello
since this morning, i'm unable to connect to the Remote Desktop DB !
I've launched Remote Desktop and it lost its SQL data source configuration (not the first time it happens...)
I tried to reconfigured the SQL Data Source but i'm now unable to connect to my database !
i've got the popup error :" Unable to connect to the server!"
So i tried to connect with different users, and no one works !
I tried to connect directly on my DB server and everything is working fine !
I tried on my workstation to create an ODBC connection with the same credentials, and it's working fine ...
I've rebooted my workstation but same issue.
Help! :)

Can you give me the full error message, maybe post a print screen. What version of RDM do you use. Are you able to connect to the database with SQL management Studio from your machine (it does not use ODBC)?

I tried with latest version 8.2.0.0 and the previous one 8.1.0.0
See the error message in attached file.
I've tried on the SQL server with the SQL Management Studio and it works.

Have you tried SQL Management Studio with the user sa? Could you try in Integrated mode?

with SQL Management Studio, i've tried with all sql users and it's working in SQL Studio.
Same thing with integrated mode.
with RDMS, impossible to connect.
I've tried with another RDMS workstation and there's no problem (release 8.1.0.0)
... strange issue...
Is it RDM or RDMS?

Could this be a firewall issue blocking the application?

No firewall is enable on this workstation.
Could you verify the application log in Help->View Application Logs

Could you try to copy the remotedesktopmanager.cfg from the working workstation? it's located in %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager
