Import/Export

I have 2 workstations and need to keep the connections in RDM in sync (Home and Office). Is there any way to delete all of the connections before importing? I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the connections were still there.

Thanks. LK

Hello,

You could create a new data source, this way it would be empty (File > Data Sources > +). The SQLite database, used by default is located in %localappdata%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager\Connections.db and is kept even if you uninstall the application.

It would be simpler to use Devolutions Hub Personal, however. All your entries would be synced in the Cloud (in Azure) and they would be available to all your devices. For more information, you can refer to https://devolutions.net/password-hub/personal

Thanks Richard. I was just missing the Delete function. Every time I sync up the 2, I can just delete them all first. But... The password hub looks interesting. Is there any way to import my entries from the local system to the Hub? I couldnt find it. Just me alone, I have 400 entries in RDM. If we added others it would be a pain to move them all.

Thanks, again.

Hello Larry,

Glad it works after deleting the file!

For the Password Hub Personal, you can migrate your data without issue by exporting as an .rdm and importing it in the Hub Personal. You can refer to https://kb.devolutions.net/rdm_data_migration.html for the data migration, or more generally to https://kb.devolutions.net/kb_moving_phub_personal.html.
