Google Drive Data Source lost

Google Drive Data Source lost

avatar

Just had an issue pop up. I have two Google Drive Data Sources. While adding a new entry to one of them, the normal sync delay passed, but the only thing left in the former 100+ connection and credential data source was just this new connection entry.

I tried refreshing. Checked Google Drive and found the file, however there is no history other than the 0 length file made when I added this newest entry and a 1KB file a couple minutes later.

I exited RDM and relaunched. As it opened the data source, it was upgraded through several versions. Never seen this before and I had not updated my RDM version today.

I'm running 2022.2.20.0

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

Would it be possible for you to create a portable installation of the latest version of RDM and see if this issue still occurs? To do so, you will need to do the following:

1- Download the .zip file below:
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/thankyou/rdmbin
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go to this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanager.exe
5- Connect to your data source

If it does, please go under Help -> Submit a support ticket to open a support case with us. We will have a closer look at this issue.

Best regards,

James Lafleur
