RDM Password Audit : MSP-Friendly Audit query

Good afternoon Devolutions Team and Forum members,
It would be helpful to us as an MSP, to be able to run audits for our customers on a per Vault basis. Our structure is such that we'll have hundreds of customer Vaults initially, and the per-vault approach is much cleaner, and less error prone in our workflow. We're coming from an environment, CyberArk, where we found that type of feature to be of benefit to our security and audit processes. Vs. the current process which looks like more of a query and filter approach. We regularly handle multiple such password reports p/ month.

Possibly it could look like an extra drop-down with the vaults populating the list?

Kind Regards,
Phil

Hello,

Could you post a screenshot of what feature exactly you mean in RDM? I want to be sure we add this to the appropriate feature.

Thank you for the update Hubert,
As we are new to the Devolutions world - could you please give an idea of roughly how long these processes take? Just so we can set our internal expectations. We're getting close to going live and it would help if I could share where on our timeline this may follow. I understand these types of estimates are not exact.

With best regards, Phil

Hello Phil,

It really depends on the complexity of the feature as well as how many users are asking for that feature. When it's something really small, sometimes we're able to make a change that will become available in a week. If it's bigger, it might need to wait for our next major release cycle since we need to synchronize with all of our products. And for big features or ones that require major changes to the application, it's hard to give an estimate, especially if it's an integration with a third party product. The more users we have asking for something though, and the more we'll consider it. Most of our features are driven by user requests at their core, so don't hesitate if we could make any improvements to make your life easier.

I think in this case it may need to wait for our next major release which is planned in March due to being a change that should be replicated on all of our platforms, but I may be wrong. The developer who is assigned to this will reply here when the feature is complete to let you know.

Hello plyons,

In our latest versions, there is a Vault column accessible in the Activity Logs. Several of our user interface arrays also have access to a built-in filter in their column header. You can simply click the header and type in the text of the desired filter to have it applied. Is it enough to provide to behaviour you were looking for?
