Barcode scanner in handheld unit is not working with Remote Desktop Manager Android in RDP connections

Barcode scanner in handheld unit is not working with Remote Desktop Manager Android in RDP connections.

The barcode scanner is working fine in other apps on the same unit, e.g. Microsoft RD Client or Paralells Client which leads me to believe the problem is in RDM.

No, no error messages at all.
The version number of RDM is 2022.3.1.2.

I tested RDM on another unit now, of another brand, and the barcode scanner is working on that one.
Same version (2022.3.1.2)

The Android version on the unit where the barcode scanner is not working is 9, and 8.1.0 on the unit where it is working.

Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol does not directly support remote desktop scanning via barcode scanner Android. While you can easily use other peripherals such as printers or external storage devices in a remote session, RDP scanning cannot be accomplished without a third-party USB Redirector.
