RDM: Enterprise 2022.3.23.0
DVLS: 2022.3.6.0
Hi All
We have some Customers, which needs some Time until the SSH Tunnel opens.
In this Case we need to pause 12 Seconds, which i have already setup on the SSH Tunnel Session itself, which works so far:
We have set the VPN Settings to a Folder, and all Sessions in this Folder to inherited.
Folder Advanced Settings Delay is set to -1:
VPN Settings of a specific Server:
The Problem now is that RDM first try to reach the Server, which fails. After that, it opens the SSH Tunnel, but instead of waiting 12s before trying to open the Server, it only waits for the RDM configured default wait Time and open the Server. This fails, because the Tunnel is not opened.
If i configure on the Folder itself the Delay to 12 Seconds, then it works.
Does the value -1 not use the inherit value?
Or how do i get it to wait until the running pause values are 0 before opening any further connections?
Best Regards,
Andreas
Hello,
-1 will use the option under under File - Options - Types - VPN, therefore if you set 12 seconds there, -1 will use that value!

Hi Etienne
Thanks for explanation.
We need to have different inherited Values.
Example: On a Vault we have 4 Location Folders. Each Location Folder contains a separate SSH Tunnel with Sessions. The Folder is set to use the specific SSH Tunnel in that Folder and all Sessions are set to inherited.
Two SSH Tunnels needs now a custom Value:
Tunnel 1: 12 Seconds
Tunnel 2: 15 Seconds
Tunnel 3: No additional Time
Tunnel 4: No additional Time
If i set now on RDM a specific Value, all Tunnels need to wait this long Time which makes no sense.
Is there no Option to set the Value to inherit, which will be the Value of the specified SSH Tunnel?
Best Regards
Andreas
