Hi,
I am using my Lenovo P11 Pro to RDP into my machine.
A few minutes after connecting to my machine if I move the cursor to the bottom of the screen, the remote machine cursor stops and I only see the local (android) cursor going to the bottom.
See the picture below
In order to move the cursor down I need to touch the screen and move it down.
That only happens with Devolutions RDP, with Microsoft RD or Chrome Remote Desktop it works fine. It seems that the fullscreen option is not functioning well.
Is there a setting I need to change? It is really time wasting...
Thanks!
Just to supply more information.
Each time it happens, if I press the Android Back button, the devolutions toolbar appear at the bottom... Then I can choose full screen again, and then the cursor moves fine for a few more minutes (until the next time it occurs).
I have also submitted a ticket through the app with diagnostics included.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We will have to test it on our side.
Can you give us your Android OS version and your RDM Android version?
Also, are you using an external mouse like a bluetooth mouse?

Best Regards,
I am using Android 11 with the latest RDM version available on the play store (don't have the tablet with me now to verify, but I know I tried updating it earlier today to double-check).
I tried using the touchpad on the official keyboard case of the tablet and also with a bluetooth mouse ... the issue happens with both.
Hi,
We have an update that is currently rolling out and it is not available to everyone yet.
Can you open the about section and give us the application's exact version number?
Does the problem happen if you use your finger to move the mouse on the screen (no touchpad and no bluetooth mouse)?

Hi, the app version is: 2022.3.0.11
The problem does not happen if I use my finger to move the cursor, probably since I touch the center of the screen to move the cursor all the way down.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for the info,
The latest version available is 2022.3.1.2. A few improvements where made in that version that could help.
Can you update to the latest version and give it a try?
One more thing, when the cursor is at the bottom of the screen and you try to move the cursor by touching the screen at
the bottom of the screen, does the problem still occur?
Bets Regards,

Hi,
I just installed the new version to try ... unfortunately the problem still occurs.
As for using my finger to touch the bottom of the screen to move the cursor: It works a little bit better, but sometimes the same thing happens.
Thanks
Hi,
We are not able to reproduce the issue.
We released a new version this morning (Version 2022.3.2.1) that should be available to all users in a few days.
This version improves the stability of the connection between the device and the remote host.
We suggest updating to this version and testing it again.
If the problem still occurs, can you send us a video? This would help us reproduce the problem.
Best Regards,
Nicolas Dufour
