How to get the RDP session to wait for the Before Open script to be finished before connecting.
Hi
I am running a PowerShell 7 script Before open an RDP session.
How do I get the RDP session to wait for the script to be finished? I have tried Wait for exit, but it does not help.
Running on Windows 11
RDM Enterprise Edition 2022.3.21
Data source Azure SQL Database
Hello,
Could you please try to set the drop down list to PowerShell instead of Macro/Script/Tool and put your script in the PowerShell script section?
Let me know if that helps.

Then it waits, but this is a script a am going to have on many entries therefore this is not a
good solution for this task I am locking into now.
But if I wanted to use this, I can’t find how to get it to run PowerShell 7 and get variables
from RDM into that script?

Hello,
Could you please verify that the No exit and Open embedded/tabbed options are disabled in the Macro/Script/Tool entry?
By default those options are enabled and they prevent the workflow of running a script before opening a session.
Let me know if that helps.

The Open embedded/tabbed was on, when I removed it, the session waited to start.
Thanks, this helped.
