Good day to you all,
We are currently recording our clients' devices in secure notes, which is sometimes very cumbersome. Would it be possible for you to make a second entry, similar to the password list, where devices can be stored with model name, system version, serial number, IP address, MAC address and location?
With kind regards,
Niklas Rathmer
Hello,
I will add this suggestion to checkbox list related ticket.

Hi Niklas,
RDM 2023.2 has a new entry type IP Address List which you might find more convenient than secure notes for your use case.

Hello Sébastien,
very good. Unfortunately, you cannot sort the list manually and it does not sort itself according to the IP addresses. Could you improve this?
Kind regards
Niklas
You can sort the table by any column including "IP / Host" if you click on the column name.

Sadly not on macOS...
Hi nrathmer,
I've opened a ticket to support sorting in the IP List table.
Best regards,

Hi nrathmer,
With RDM 2023.2.6.2, the column sorting should now be available in the IP List table.
Best regards,
Xavier Fortin
Good morning Xavier
Unfortunately, still not perfect. The sorting is not saved, in the overview, if you do not edit the entry, it is still the order in which the entries were created. Also you can't sort by the IP address, because it counts wrong, could you optimize this?
Greetings,
Niklas

Hi,
For the IP column sorting, I've reopened the ticket to fix this.
As for saving the sorting when saving the entry, I'll open a new ticket for this.
Best regards,
Xavier Fortin
Hi nrathmer,
The sort of the IP Address List should now save with RDM 2023.2.7.1. As for fixing the incorrect sorting with the IP / Host list, this is fixed internally but didn't get to the latest version. This will be fixed in the next release.
Best regards,
Xavier Fortin
Hi nrathmer,
As of the release of 2023.2.8.1, the sorting of the IP / Host column should now work properly.
Best regards,
Xavier Fortin
