2FA recurring authentication

When using a local data source, and a client configured to launch with 2FA, the client can remain open indefinitely which limits the security effectiveness of the 2FA.
The security would be greatly increased if the client could be configured require 2FA on a recurring basis.

If you configured the 2FA directly in RDM, it is possible to configure the Lock feature, which will require you to re-enter the 2FA after the criteria you selected are met. Simply go to File > Options > Security and go in the Lock section:
When you open RDM, it will be locked, and you will need to re-enter your 2FA:
