HP iLO Remote Console - Type Clipboard Issue
I am using Secret Server as a linked vault with RDM and I am trying to connect to the HP iLO web page (which works after I manually change my username) and then connect to the Remote Console and use the "Type Clipboard" feature to type my password in the password field and login to the server. When I press Copy Password and then Type Clipboard nothing happens. I've verified that this does work while connected to an RDP session with Notepad. Is that feature truly an auto-typer, or is it actually preforming a paste function?

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
The Type Clipboard feature will emulate the user typing the content of the clipboard. If the password was copied properly, you should be able to use this feature without issues.
That being said, which version of RDM and what type of Data Source are you currently using? As for your HP iLO web page, are you connecting to it with a website entry or with the HP iLO entry type in RDM?

I am using version 2022.2.26.0 64-bit with a Local Data Source. I've connected to it with the HP iLO entry and the website. The HP iLO connection option seems to work better than the Website option, however, neither of them allow me to use the Type Clipboard feature inside the Remote Console in HP iLO.

Would it be possible for you to create a portable installation of the latest version of RDM and see if this issue still occurs? To do so, you will need to do the following:
1- Download the .zip file below:
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/thankyou/rdmbin
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go to this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanager64.exe
5- Connect to your local data source
6- Try to use the Type Clipboard feature inside your Remote Console HP iLO

Thanks for the instructions.
I completed all of the steps and when I attempt to run the iLO connection, I get the following license error. I think it has to do with the version because the other version ran without this error.

I have created a request (00013723) for our sales team to provide you with a Delinea module serial, it is required in the 2022.3 version of RDM.

Ok, I got the correct license to allow me to access HP iLO with the latest version of RDM, however, I'm experiencing the same result. When I click Copy Password, then Type Clipboard, nothing happens.

After you do the "Copy password", can you try to paste it in notepad to see if the password is actually copied?
