RDM Enterprise 2022.2.23.0
Hi All
I have some Web Sessions in RDM, which are connecting trough VPN and dynamic Ports.
Everything works fine, but when i open a Link which opens a new Tab, then im getting a new Tab "about:blank#blocked":
Where can i find the Setting to allow blocked new Tabs?
Best Regards,
Andreas
Hello,
I will have to check with the engineering department, keep you updated on that :)

Hello,
Just to confirm with you, do you have the same behavior with Chrome as the web browser?
Best Regards,
Etienne Lord
Hi Etienne
Sorry, this Reply has been missed on my Side.
No, with regular Browser it works. But on RDM Embedded Tab we get the Blocked Message for all Links which are opened in new Tabs.
Best Regards,
Andreas
Hello,
Sorry, I meant it as, do you have the same with Chrome as the web browser (embedded) since you are using Edge embedded in Remote Desktop Manager!
Best Regards,
Etienne Lord
Hey Etienne
I've just tested it, and with Chrome it works.
There is first the "blocked" url, which will be redirected to the working url when i selected "Chrome".
But we need to get it working with Edge, since this is our Company Browser.
Best Regards,
Andreas
Hello,
That's good to know! We will investigate on that :)

Etienne Lord
Cool, thanks a lot Etienne 😊

Andreas
Hi Etienne
Any News on this Problem?
Thanks,
Andreas
Hello,
This is still under investigation!

has any headway been made here, it's affecting us as well. I've only seen it in some rare use case scenarios where the parent window needs to interact with a child pop-up. A notable example is logging into SonicWALL's as a user or an admin (not using the admin account).

Hello,
I've been testing this on the latest version with a SonicWall VPN.
This issue seems to be fixed.
Could you tell me if you tried this on the latest version of RDM?
Could you try that with a local data source on a portable version to see if it still occurs for you?
To do so, you will need to do the following:
(Cose RDM):
1- Download the .zip file below:
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/thankyou/rdmbin
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go to this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanager.exe
5- Create a new web entry in RDM and reproduce this issue.
Best regards,
Patrick Ouimet
