Hi,
after update to this version I can´t add new entries by QR code.
Hi, thanks for reporting. We can reproduce your issue and we will fix it in the next version that will be released this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay. I also had the problem of not being able to unlock the app on my phone after the update to this version. I had to uninstall and reinstall it.
We will also look into that, thanks for reporting.

Okay. Here is recorded screen from my telephone. I tried stopping and restarting the app manually, but the result was the same.

Hi, thanks for the video. We will look into that.

When will the new version be available in the Google Playstore? I have an onboarding (50 users) waiting. The problem we have is that manual configuration is not possible because the website generates a 16 character key, and the app only allows 12 characters.
Therefore the current manuals we created cannot be used. (to unlock the private key with the app.)
Hi, the new version will be out today!

I installed Workspace 2022.3.0 for iOS, and when I try to use the Authenticaor, it looks like it is trying to connect/sync to the cloud and the app crashes. The Password Hub Personal application part of it works though. Is there a bug or connection issue? I uninstalled and reinstalled, and the problem still occurs.
Hi, this is the Code Generator that seems to make the app crash. Did you create the entry from the Web or RDM?

Most of mine were created from websites. Two were created as security options for the RDM app.
Alright, we'll look into that and make a minor version with the fix very soon. Thanks for reporting

Hi, the update that fixes the crashing issues is live on the App Store. For the Android version, there’s a delay but it will be up on the store as soon as we can.

Hi Sebastien, the fast development work to fix this issue is beyond amazing. Very quick work. Unfortunately, the update has not resolved my issue. I manually deleted the two RDM related entries using the hub portal, and the outcome is the same. The authenticator works ok until I connect my Hub Personal account and the cloud backup restores to the app, then it crashes. I'm not sure what happened since 2022.2.5 which worked fine.
Hi, sorry to hear that. A crashing app is our top priority since we don't want that behaviour to happen for anyone. We've reproduced your crash and we think it's a certain entry that contains an invalid TOTP secret. We do have the validation inside the app but it's not the same in the Web. The secret should be a valid Base32 string as per the related RFC. Also, in Workspace we do not use the same TOTP library to generate the codes as the Web (Password Hub Personal), so that's why all the entries may work in the latter and not in Workspace.
We will keep digging and keep you updated for upcoming updates. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for the prompt response. Thankfully I have access to my OTP codes from the Hub portal. It is the main reason I chose this authenticator app over Google and Microsoft. Hopefully you are able to resolve it soon. Best regards.
Hi, we've released another version of Workspace. The update will be available on the store very soon.
It should fix the crashing app but if the secret key for your entry that was causing the crash is not a valid Base32 key, it will display a "Invalid secret" instead of the usual 6-digits code.
Thanks for your patience!

Hello again, great news! The latest update is working, and I found the invalid entry; go figure, it was Google/Gmail (I guess they don't play nicely with RFC). Thank you again for the amazingly quick update!
Hi, excellent! We will continue to investigate the problem with the Google implementation of TOTPs. Thanks again for your report!
