I have my RDM set to lock itself if I minimize it, lock the computer, etc. The one thing I noticed is that DWL still works even if the application is locked.
Is it possible to have a setting so the DWL connection is disconnected until the application is unlocked?

According to the information I have found on that matter, this feature should be available in the latest BETA of RDM Enterprise.
If you would like to test this version without affecting your current installation, I recommend creating a portable installation of RDM. To do so, you will need to do the following:
1- Download the .zip file below:
https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/home/thankyou/rdmbinbeta
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go to this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanager64.exe
5- Use the local data source created by default for your tests
