Configure Remote Desktop screen resolution size for Remote Desktop connections

Configure Remote Desktop screen resolution size for Remote Desktop connections

avatar

I have two questions about Remote Desktop Connections, when using Remote Desktop Manager (Devolutions), shown below:

  1. Can someone explain if it's possible to change the size of the Remote Desktop Connection screen resoluton (display size) on remote desktop connections? I'd like to configure my connections to use 1440 x 400, but don't see a way to do that.
  2. If it is possible do do what I asked in question 1), can a specifc folder containing a group of Remote Desktop connections be configured to apply those screen resolution (display size) settings to all servers within that folder?

Thanks.

PJ.

Hello PJ,

You can specify the resolution of your RDP session under Display > Remote desktop size. Since it is not standard you would need to use custom and specify your 1440x400.

It is not possible to set that setting at the folder level, since it only exists for RDP session, but you can perform a batch edit to change it for all the entries:

You can also use templates to have that setting applied automatically when a new entry is created: https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/file_templates.html
