We deal with a lot of temp VMs etc (in Azure) and I was wondering if there was a way to auto-create (not really import) RDM connections.
Is there some way to API/CLI create a connection?
Or docs on how to manually add one into the MSSQL DB when using enterprise edition?
Or better yet, a feature inside RDM to import from Azure using an Azure Service Principal to grab all the details and create a connection?
I didn't really want to script-create a .csv and import each time.
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
We do have the "Synchronizer" entry type that offers you some choices on what can be imported automatically in RDM:
Once configured, you could import connections from these services into RDM automatically.

Thanks,
I wasn't aware of those, but it looks like Azure isn't really supported.
We use several pools of Azure Virtual Desktops, not all are AD joined, as well as have Workgroup machines in a DMZ that aren't AD joined etc, so it doesn't look like any of those options will apply.
I guess I will investigate scripting to .csv and using the .csv Synchronizer though.
Thanks
You are more than welcome!
