RDM Export/Import not working with master password

Hello,

I try to export (file > export) my Remote Manager (free edition) entries as .rdm file and I use a master password for the export.
Unfortunately I can not import the .rdm file in another installation, RDM tells me about a wrong pw - tried several times.

Without using a master pw during export all works fine.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong is appreciated.

Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue.

Which version of RDM are you using? Is it the same on both installations?

I tried to do it on my own RDM instance and was able to do it. The message seems to suggest it might just be a password problem (or keyboard entry method), especially if it works when you don't enter any.

Thanks for the answer/idea!

I checked both RDM version and saw that one (where i wanted to import) was pretty old.
After updating both RDM installation to current version all works.
