I have tried to search for this.

Paste and clipboard produce hundreds of results.

I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong, or if there is a way to fix this.

I have a command that I created in Notepad++. (msiexec.exe /i "\\file server\IT folder\Sub-Folder\my name\transfer\splunk\install.splunk.cmd " lots of parameters.)

On some PC's I can right click and paste, and this works fine. Others I can right click and it auto pastes the command.

However on quite a few PC's I have to use Actions type clipboard (This is not a big deal) however a lot of times I have to perform this action several times (usually 5 or more) to get it to paste the data correctly.

Usually I get some garbage in the middle of the text. for example.

msiexec.exe /i "\\file server\IT fame\transfer\splunk\install.splunk.cmd"older\Sub-Folder\my name\transfer\splunk\install.splunk.cmd" lots of parameters.

Any suggestions?
