Hello

I'm with RDM Enterprise on a Microsoft SQL Server.
I use a lot the documentation on every items.
I'm searching a method to have a fully functional version of RDM offline.
The best will be a portable version with a local database and a procedure that make an usb portable key with program and data.
RDM Offline version has partial data.
I think it could be highly appreciated by all users to have a spare offline version for emergency

My best regards

Hello,

Thank you for your request.

About the Documentation feature, a ticket is already opened internally to have this feature available in offline mode. I will ask the engineering team to bump up the priority of this internal ticket. Once an update will be available, we will post it here.

Best regards,

Thanks Erica for your answer.
Offline Documentation is very important (in read only will be ok).
Is already important a fully functional installation of RDM in offline like on a usb key.
If you have a disaster a USB Key frequently updated should be a great solution.

My best regards

Hello Paolo,

In the meantime, if you export a vault, you can export the documentation as well in the 2022.2 release:

You can export all vaults at the same time, but to be able to re-import the entries, it would require an advanced data source (SQL, Devolutions Server, etc.), so it is not as useful in a disaster recovery scenario.

Hello,

The Documentation tab search feature has been implemented but won't be released yet in RDM 2022.3 version since our engineering team will need to resolve a performance issue that this feature will cause.

Thank you for your patience.
