RDM frozen when select Favorities tab

Thank you for providing us with these infractions!

After making a new test environment that matches these criteria, I haven't been able to reproduce this freeze. For this reason, would it be possible for you to create a portable installation of the latest version of RDM and see if this issue still occurs? To do so, you will need to do the following:

1- Download the .zip file below:
https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/home/thankyou/rdmfreebin
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go in this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanagerfree.exe
5- Enter your RDM Free serial
6- Connect to your Devolutions Online Drive
7- Try to select your Favorites once more

In mean time I did update to version 2022.2.16.0.64bit and problem solved.. Looks like some bug in version 14.

had the same issue. RDM freezes for some minutes when selecting favorites, then terminates.
Update to 2022.2.16.0 64-bit does not solve the problem.
My solution: I deleted the file favorites.xml in my local profile. After that i started with an empty favorite-section, new favorites could be defined,

For further investigation on the matter I would like to know how long did RDM freeze to access your favorite list and how many favorites do you have in said list?

I have found a way to reproduce this issue, hopefully this can be resolved. It seems to only happen when you have alot of favorite and the first action you do after connecting to the datasource is select the favorite list in the navigation pane, If I do any other action after connecting to the datasource I cannot replicate. Very odd. We'll keep you updated.

i guess the freeze takes 2 minutes. There are only three favorites in the list. If it helps i can send you the file Favorites.xml i deleted.
