Hi,
I have a hard time getting autofill to work on websites.
It never fills in automatically and when I press discover it almost never finds any values.
When I find them myself it sometimes works...
I use Bitwarden normally in my browser and this works great, or even the default browser password manager works fine, but I want / need to use the local (non cloud stored) passwords from RDM. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
The Synology DSM 7 interface requires a button press to switch from the username field to a password field which is not visible until you press the button. My normal browser detects the password field and enters it, RDM does nothing.
I was able to make the Sophos UTM webinterface login work (manually fill in the values).
Hello Marcel,
Are you currently using the Devolutions Web Login extension? It will link RDM to your browser and allow you to save the credentials used for a website automatically. This will fill out the fields automatically and should prevent the kind of issues you are experiencing.

To download the extension: https://devolutions.net/web-login

Hi,
I think you misunderstood.
I open websites in RDM using Chrome (engine) and do NOT want to use the passwords stored in my browser or use the password in RDM in my browser.
I'm talking about the auto fill feature in RDM using passwords stored in RDM.
Hello,
Our embedded Chrome autofill has more limitation than Devolutions Web Login (DWL) and that's why Richard was mentioning it. The browser extension is connected to RDM to retrieve the stored credentials and does not use the one in Chrome. We can try to find a workaround in embedded mode but if we can't access this specific url, it's not simple.
