You push RDM update for 2022.2.12 but you don't have the GA for the 2022.2 DVLS. Whats wrong ?

I came here to look for the answer to this as I already have someone who has had to reinstall (because they did not listen to the "Do Not Update" comms we send out.

So in the words of 4 Non Blondes:

"Hey! What's going on"

Also is there a best practice method of answering the chicken and egg question of which you upgrade first DVLS or RDM?

About the update of DVLS and RDM, you will find the answer on this page. We recommend to update DVLS and then RDM.
Upgrading Devolutions Server

To prevent the user to update, you can manage it in Administration - System Settings - Version Management. The Disable auto update notification will prevent user to be prompted for a new version.

And then, you can disable the Check for updates button in the Help menu with a GPO (Disable the Help - Check Version button). Here is the article about it.

Finally, we have launched RDM as it is ready for the other data sources like SQL, Hub Business, etc.

we know, that we need to update DVLS first.
But you push out a RDM Version 2022.2.
And at this time, no Version 2022.2. for DVLS are available.
Only Beta.

We have over 100 Users. All get today the message, update is available.
They made the updates and can't connect to the DVLS.

This is my problem.
Now it seems, a GA 2022.2 is ready.
I check this.

@Andreas, the GA should be soon available but I cannot provide an official ETA yet.

@Simon I will ask our engineers to add the latest version in the Custom Installer list. I will keep you updated once it will be available.
