Hi All,
There are a group of certain servers I'm unable to RDP to from RDM, RDM shows the following error: 2022.1.4.0 64-bit - ERROR Unknown error (0x0000054F) . Does anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix this?
Thanks
Hello Tim,
Are you using the free or Enterprise edition?
I would strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version (2022.1.16), several enhancements and fixes were included in the later versions for RDP sessions:
https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/home/download
Let us know if you still have the issue afterward. If so, can you provide additional information on your OS, if you are using M1, and the target machines (OS, same network, etc.)
Best regards,
Richard Boisvert
Hi Richard,
This is the enterprise edition. Is it possible to install the latest version if the DB hasn't been updated?
Thanks
Hello
I'll let my colleague answer your question about the database upgrade, but in the meantime it could help us understand the problem if you can provide us with a diagnostic log (the error itself is "internal error" so it doesn't tell us much).
You can follow the steps in this knowledge base article.
Please let us know if something is not clear or if you have further questions.
Thanks and kind regards,
Richard Markievicz
Hello Tim,
You could install the latest version without doing the upgrade, but you will get a notification you need to perform the DB upgrade every time you authenticate to your data source. You could always revert to the older version after, to see whether the RDP issue is resolved or not with the newer version.
For your information, here is the upgrade process, unless you are using Devolutions Server as a data source: https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/database_upgrade.html
