Remote Desktop Manager 2022.2 - BETA
Hello everybody,
We are really happy to release RDM 2022.2 beta version. This is a major update and requires a database update but the new database format is compatible with the previous version. However, please backup your database before installing this beta for a maximum of safety. DVLS 2022.2 is required to use with this version. It's recommended to wait for it's release.

I cannot seem to locate the new tag management feature in the RDM 2022.2 beta version. Is it available in the RDM Free version? Any help?
Hello,
The tag management is located in the main Edit menu. Please note though that it is only available to administrators, and to regular users on datasources that support user vaults.

Is it available anywhere in the "Menu" Main Header or do you have to use the "Ribbon" Main Header?
You're right, it's only in the Ribbon at the moment. We'll add it to the Menu as well in the next version.

It also works with the "Simplified Ribbon" layout, so I can use it with that until it is in the "Menu" Main Header.
beta updater dont download beta version but prod :)

a ticket has been created and sent to the Engineering Team for the Devolutions Updater not updating to the Beta version.
For a workaround, you can disable the Devolutions Updater and you will be able to download the beta version.

the issue with Devolutions Updater is fixed with the latest release of the Beta 2022.2.11.0, all future Betas releases will download correctly with the Devolutions Updater.

RDM and RDM are now officially available. Please note that Devolutions Server 2022.2 is still in beta. Please make sure to backup your database and your encryption key before the update.
