Hi,
I currently use RDM free to open an RDP session through an SSH tunnel, but can't find how to add some script commands in the SSH shelL
What I'd like to do is : when open the SSH shell, check remote windows server availability (ping), if no response start a wakeonlan command, wait a few second, then open the RDP session.
Is that please possible - and if yes, how ?
regards,
Denis
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this,
In your entry "Properties" I believe the section you're looking for would be the "Events" tab, in this section, you can find the "After Open" tab in which you can choose which action you'd like to be performed after your entry is opened "Script" is one of the available options.
Let me know if this helps,
Best regards,

Hi @Samuel, many thanks for your reply.
From what I understand, those are actions you wan to execute on your local computer (the one where remote desktop manager is installed and run), isn't it ?
In my case, I'd like to execute a script on the remote SSH server :
Local computer (Remote Desktop Manager client) -> SSH server (for tunneling) -> RDP server
The WOL script has to be run on the remote SSH server ....
Open SSH server -> run WOL script - wait for the RDP server to be alive - -> open RDP session through tunnel
Hello DenisC,
From my understanding, the "Events" -> "After Open" will be performed on the Remote Host, if it's being performed to quickly you can add a "Pre Execution Pause" to make sure the session is connected before the action is performed.
Let me know if this helps,
Best regards,
