Before Open event is not waiting for exit

Here's the options for the script that it's trying to kick off
I hit open session on the connection
My understanding is that it is supposed to execute the script and then open the connection. it starts them both at the same time. it doesn't wait at all.

I have found the problem. The option "Open embedded/tabbed" is causing this. Initially the tool opens as a separate window. That closes and it opens again in a tab. I think that Close/Reopen action is triggering the event to move forward.

Sorry I didn't specifically state that. Turning the option for embedded/tabbed off causes it to work correctly. The external window stays open and the application performs as expected.

yes leaving the option unchecked is fine for what i'm doing.
