Hello,
Is it possible to force RDM settings, so users can't change them?
For example, I would like to force the Hardware Acceleration setting to Disabled and don't want users to enable this option.
Now I created a default.cfg in the installation folder, which disables this setting by default but users can change this setting through File > Options.
For disabling automatic updates it is possible to create a registry key (How to Apply Policies (devolutions.net)) , which I want to use for this settings well.
Thanks in advanced.
Tim
Kind regards,
Tim
Hello,
With the Policies, you can disable File - Options completely for your users, which will prevent them from changing any options.
Otherwise, since they have access to File - Options, there would be nothing blocking them.

Hello Etienne,
Thank you for your reaction!
We don't want to block the File - Options completely for our users, because there are settings which we think is a personal preference.
It would be nice to make every setting configurable through registry with a possibility to force (so users can't change the setting) or to configure a default (where users can change it), but I understand it is not possible for now.

Tim

Hello,
It is not currently possible but we could add specific ones, you mentioned Hardware acceleration but are there other settings you would like to block?
