copy pate file not work when using Open(Embedded Tabbed) but works when using Open(External) option

hello

I'm using version: 2022.1.12.0 (free edition) on macOS Monterey.
when rdp with Open(Embedded Tabbed) I'm only able to copy context of a file from remote vm to my local computer
when I try to copy file(zip/exe/png) from remote vm to my local computer it does not work.

if I use the Open(External) option everything works , I can copy files/context from remote vm to my local computer.

any idea why it's behave like that ?

Hello

Copy/paste of files over RDP is not implemented in the current version of RDM Mac (which uses FreeRDP for embedded connections). When you use the external mode, MSRDP is used instead and that does support this functionality.

The good news is we've been working on this feature and just released the changes to the RDM Mac team earlier this week. It should be part of an upcoming release.
