RDM painfully slow
Hey guys,
I'm wondering for a long time why RDM runs so painfully slow (every action takes seconds, start takes relativly long).. Is is because I have my Databases on Devolution Drive? If yes, don't he cache the DBs locally? Would it run faster, if I choose local DB and sync it via OneDrive?

Can you confirm which version of RDM you're currently using?
Launching RDM normally takes between 10-20 seconds depending on the system, there is not much that can be done to speed this up unfortunately, disabling the splash screen may be of interest, you can do so by going under "File" -> "Options" -> "Application" -> "Application Startup" -> "Show Splash Screen".
That being said, regarding your issue performing actions, that is indeed odd, If you create a new SQLite data source do you encounter the same problem?

I've opened an account, just to express my frustration using RDM.
It is extremely slow, takes a lot of time to start (reminds me of my old Win98/Pentium2 PC), does not report the current status, like "working", "connecting," or similar, it just hangs and does not respond to any clicks for 5 seconds.
Extremely frustrating!
I have an 11th generation i7CPU with 32GB RAM and an NVME disk with a 2GB/s read speed.
How many resources do you need, honestly?
It's not only me, all my colleagues also complain.
I would certainly look for alternatives, I don't need software that would make me frustrated on a daily basis!
I would honestly be ashamed to put this product on the market in this condition!
