Secret Server - Adding Entries from RDM
Hi all,
I've been able to use the RDM feature to integrate our Thycotic Secret Server and pull entries out of it. There is't a great deal of documentation on how to use this feature, looking to find out if it's possible to add new objects into our SS from RDM. Hiting 'New entry' creates a new instance of a Secret Server cennection entries.
Also, would like to find out if it's possible to have the display for the dialog window embedded into tabbed view instead of external to the dashboard.
RDM Version: Windows - 2021.2.16.0
SS Version: 11.1.000007

There are 2 ways to use the Secret Server credentials:
Option 1 - 1 credential entry per credential
In the Secret Server entry, in the 2nd tab, you can set the look up to “by name”, and then type the name of the secret you want to look up in your Secret Server.
Option 2 - 1 credential entry for all your connections
In this case, select Prompt for list
In the entries you want to reference that credential (it can be a top level folder for example), set the credential to Linked (Vault) - select your Secret Server entry, and then click the Select from list. This may take a while to open in your case, but you will only need to do it once.
As for your second question, is it you want the pop up from Secret Server to be embedded in the sessions (for example 2FA, credential selection, etc.)? If so, it is not possible.
