Drag and Drop Photo Albums

RDM is great for all our documentation too except for storing images. Uploading one by one is hard and viewing them equally as hard.
It would be great if we could drag and drop images which then display like a photo album. Even better if we could then tag and annotate them. Our use case is server rooms, servers, racks, switches etc.
Just a drag and drop album for now though would be great.

Hello,
Could you describe what you do for storing this information in RDM presently? Do you store the images as individual attachments, document entries, or in documentation directly?
It might give us ideas of ways we could add this functionality.

Hi Hubert,
We upload images one by one as an Image type, stored in the DB. Then when being viewed we have to view them individually. We have tried with uploading images into a document which does work but it's not really what we want and finding the correct image within the document is generally then another issue.
We have reverted to keeping our images in Teams which is functionally ok but it's not where I want our documentation to be kept. We need to upload en-masse to an entry type called "Photo Album" and opening that one entry type would open up something like the below :

Thank you for the details and for explaining your scenario. This is definitely something we could add to RDM and we have a few ideas of how we could do this. I've opened a ticket and we will let you know once we have an update.

I actually just called support to ask if this feature existed. I would like this feature as well.
