The specified 'redirect_uri' error in browser

avatar

Upgraded DPS to latest version 2 days ago and also the client, now I cant start RDM and when trying to reach the DVLS server the browser keeps giving me the following error

error:invalid_request
error_description:The specified 'redirect_uri' is not valid for this client application.
error_uri:https://documentation.openiddict.com/errors/ID2043

Any idea where to start looking for solving this error? Other clients running the same RDM version and talking to the same DVLS instance works as expected, have tried two different browsers (chrome + edge).

DPS = 2022.1.10
RDM = 2022.1.21.0

OK that worked better, I used a alias for the host when trying to access the DVLS server.

However, my RDM doesn't seem to launch, I've tried rebooting in between, it worked for the first time after upgrade but after that it refuses to start. Is there any logfile that I can look in somewhere to try to sort out any error?

Hello,

Thank you for you feedback.

Could it be related to an antivirus? If so, please whitelist the RDM installation folder.

You can try to start it from a command prompt and use the /profiler switch to try to get any information.

The last solution if this is still an issue is creating a mini dump file using psexec.

Running RemoteDesktopManager64.exe /Profiler didnt do anything from the command prompt when executing it from its directory.

Did redownload the install file and did a repair install, it seems to fixed it, atleast for the first load. Will try with a reboot tomorrow to see if it still starts.
