Hello
Some of our external users who don't have a company laptop connect to our environment via a remote desktop on our terminal server.
Recently we have those users complaining that a reconfiguration of RDM is needed whenever they sign-in on the terminal server. The application behaves as if it is a clean install.
We did some dinging on our own, and think it might be caused by the fact that everything seems to be written to %appdata% (roaming).
Do you have any suggestion how we can improve the experience of our terminal users that they don't have to configure the data source every time they need it?
With kind regards,
Nick
Hello,
Did you find https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/installation_terminalservices.html?zoom_highlightsub=rds
It describes that a roaming profile is needed and used transparently by RDM. It also describes the configuration to ensure that new profiles are initialized properly.
Best regards,
PS. Please ignore the warning about DWL, its being removed at this moment.
Maurice
Hello Maurice
Thank you, I'll take a look. It didn't show up when I searched for it.
I'll let you know if the issue persists.
With kind regards,
Nick
